Despite its simple title, the book contains some offbeat as well as classic recipes - all prepared without the help of canned soup - and is complete with index, equivalent metric measures and menu suggestions.
Produced from the recipes files of auxiliary members, Main Courses includes meat, fish, poultry and pasta dishes, some casseroles plus soups, salads, sauces and even some desserts.
Every clearly marked section includes current food favorites plus intriguing dishes from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Like the auxiliary's first two books, recipes for Main Courses have been thoroughly tested and organized by the editors, Julie Rosen and Lucy Wolkove.
