And Your Guide for Carmel Kosher Wines from Israel
A charming and useful cookbook that holds the promise of many delightful and exciting meals for family, friends and special guests. Compiled for the busy woman with a kosher kitchen, but the resemblance to traditional Jewish cooking ends there. The book is a compendium of family recipes and ideas that took three years to assemble, and is arranged in sections, each dealing with a different aspect of food and food preparation. There are sections on canapes, foreign foods, daily fare, party foods, wines and menus for everything from a javenese dinner to a bridal luncheon.Â
The recipes and menus are printed on only one side of a heavy paper which allows room for notes, and the pages are held in a ring binder which makes turning easy and allows the book to lie flat. As for the recipes themselves, they are marvels of ingenuity and experienced planning. The entire book is geared to glamorous cooking, with as little fuss' as possible.
